Joni Fisher LISW-S

My name is Joni and I created Happy Chance Counseling to be a safe and inclusive space for all. I began studying Gestalt therapy in 2009 and it truly transformed my life. Since then I have added training in other therapeutic models such as Solution Focused, EMDR, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Narrative. I truly believe there is a therapeutic technique that will help every client!

When I am not in a therapy setting, you can find me teaching child, and family therapy techniques to student Social Workers at a collegiate level. I love working with those who identify as students and life long learners. I am particularly skilled with goal setting and working with those who identify as perfectionists!

I offer virtual and in person sessions to clients in downtown Delaware Ohio. I also offer trainings, group work and supervision for Social Work students attempting to become independently licensed. Connect with me to learn more!
